Finally a Definitive Solution to ATM Card Frauds and Debit and Credit Card Skimming

The reports showed in the 2009 losses of €312 million because of ATM card frauds and credit and debit cards skimming. ATM related fraud attacks rose 8% with a total of 13,269 incidents reported and in the 2010 these numbers are even higher. Until today there was no solution; the new technology brought us a definitive solution.

ATM skimming and card cloning are a real problem every day more diffuse in all the World and it costs several million dollars to banks, customers and financial institution every year. The only possible solution until today was to keep under control the bank statement, being also really careful when withdrawing.

But the new technology and the power of new material is helping the global safety and now there's a new tool for avoiding ATM card frauds and linked losses of money. The new materials help in this aim. After studies and experiments, the science found out a solution and the expert invented a titanium case that protects every magnetic card against cloning, skimming and wearing.

Another problem that can be avoided is the demagnatization. The titanium protects against the magnetic fields like the one of your mobile or your iPod. The concept is very easy. The card must be inserted into a titanium case. That's it. After that, the card can be used normally for the withdrawal, without being removed from the case. The case fits perfectly into the ATM and the card shape will remain exactly the same, because the titanium ads just 1 mm around the ATM or credit card.

How is it possible? It's very simple. An identity theft is possible because a skimmer device reads the data on the black magnetic strip on the back of the cards. Today, that magnetic strip is not necessary any more because of the solution "chip and pin". Finding the right way for covering that stripe, the data theft would be impossible. This cover can be made with the titanium (invisible for the magnetic fields). Covered by the titanium, no skimmer device can read that sensible data for bad aims.
