How to Get Back Your Money when ATM Machines Glitch ( in China )
PROBLEM: After depositing, for example, RMB (Chinese Currency) 2000.00 in increments, the ATM machine malfunctioned, 'spits-out' its receipt (sometimes it won't!), and DID NOT add or register your transaction.
Where did your hard-earned monies go?
1.) Do not forget to get the actual transaction receipt from the ATM machine. If you did incremental deposits, there would be a receipt for each incremental transaction - if you did two separate deposits,
then you'll get two receipts, etc. Now you're asking, what if I forgot or lost those transaction receipts OR what if the machine does not even do a receipt at all? 2.) Try not to leave the bank or move far away from the ATM machine, in any way at this time - this step is very important! 3.) Look for the closest bank security guard - most of them are stationed near the ATM machines.6.) Take the bank manager or rep to the ATM machine where the incident happened and tell your story from there. Most ATM machines are monitored closely through the hanging/hiding security video cameras and this is one of those last resorts where you could prove with the bank that you were the real person who deposited the money in that faulty ATM machine, when the glitch happened. 7.) After you've taken the bank reps a round trip to the useless ATM for some 'movie shots',it's high time to insist to ask the rep to check if their cams or video systems were able to capture the ATM incident. 8.) After the bank reps check their video systems and find you and them in their 'in-house-movies', they would probably shut down the faulty ATM machine and check your bank records in their system.
10.) If you can't get back immediately to the bank or produce the original records the bank reps ask you, insist for hard or soft copies of written statements that the incident happened in this specific bank before you leave the bank and make a return. The transaction should have been a 'Commit' transaction recorded by the bank's database software systems.
Buying an ATM machine for your store or business is an inexpensive and hassle-free way to produce major profits and increase foot traffic. Customers who withdraw cash from stores with ATMs have been proven to spend significantly more than other patrons. Although it might seem that these machines are everywhere, a strategically placed machine will still draw customers. Buying an outdoor ATM can even bring in the money 24 hours a day. If neighboring stores have cash only policies or limits on credit card use, that means you'll be benefitting from their customers dropping by your store as well.
If you're concerned that people will come to your store purely to use the machine, remember that they are more apt to spend cash in hand than use a credit card, especially for smaller purchases. Even if a customer chooses only to use the Any Time Machine in your store rather than purchasing any goods then that cash might persuade them to buy an item they normally wouldn't want to put on credit. Some businesses offer cash-only items like lottery tickets to further push people towards the ATM. Companies often buy ad space in the form of video and audio on machines. Although ATMs can lure in customers, surcharges will account for a large percentage of the profits. If we want to spend cash then we want the cash to spend right away. You can pay directly by debit or credit card or you can use the cards at an ATM machine to get actual paper money. What is an ATM machine? Will you benefit by installing an ATM machine for your business? An automated teller machine (ATM) allows you to access your bank account without the need to deal with a human clerk or bank teller. The machine identifies a customer with the help of a plastic card with a magnetic strip or a smart card with a chip. A lot of banks issue debit and credit cards which can also be used as ATM cards. These machines allow the customer to check his or her account balance, withdraw money, purchase prepaid cell-phone credit and can also be used for currency exchange. ATM's have become very popular with the general public. If you own a retail business then you should look into installing an ATM machine on your premises. Installing an ATM machine on your premises will increase foot traffic to your work place and this will help boost sales. People will withdraw money from the machine and pay you in cash instead of using a credit or debit card. Having an ATM machine in your establishment also boosts the image of your brand and establishment in the eyes of your customers. If you don't already have one it is time to look into getting an ATM machine for your establishment.
