ATM Installation

Poland Installs Europe's First Biometric Security ATM
ATM machines have most certainly changed the way we use cash. They've changed the way we think about our money, handle our money, and use our money. Less money in your wallet means less money to lose. The abundance of ATM machines in public places has provided many more opportunities for theft, and crooks have duly taken note. Well, Poland has recently taken measures to protect their citizens and has installed biometric security, finger-scanning ATM machines. Customers at Poland's BPS SA bank can now withdraw money using only their index fingers in combination with a PIN number for double protection.
A Japanese tech company called Hitachi is behind the scanning technology, and it works by recording the tiny veins that run through fingertips which create a unique identifier for each banking customer.
Currently, there is only one working biometric security ATM machine in Warsaw, but the bank plans to expand machines further around the country before the year is over and estimates that they will have more than 350 biometric ATM machines in branches around Poland in the coming years.
If we want to spend cash then we want the cash to spend right away. You can pay directly by debit or credit card or you can use the cards at an ATM machine to get actual paper money. What is an ATM machine? Will you benefit by installing an ATM machine for your business? An automated teller machine (ATM) allows you to access your bank account without the need to deal with a human clerk or bank teller. The machine identifies a customer with the help of a plastic card with a magnetic strip or a smart card with a chip. A lot of banks issue debit and credit cards which can also be used as ATM cards. These machines allow the customer to check his or her account balance, withdraw money, purchase prepaid cell-phone credit and can also be used for currency exchange. The customer is authorized when he enters a personal identification number (PIN). ATM's have become very popular with the general public. If you own a retail business then you should look into installing an ATM machine on your premises. Installing an ATM machine on your premises will increase foot traffic to your work place and this will help boost sales. People will withdraw money from the machine and pay you in cash instead of using a credit or debit card. Having an ATM machine in your establishment also boosts the image of your brand and establishment in the eyes of your customers.
